ABOUT LEA

Hey, beautiful! I'm Lea:
a photographer and
business student.

I began my business when I was 24 years old, but I've had a camera in my hand since I was 20. I started my photography journey with shooting flowers and landscapes, and I still love macro photography, but now my passion is photographing high school seniors. But, there's a lot more to me than my love for beautiful photos... so let's dive in!

I

bought my first camera in 2008 and conducted my very first photo shoot with a family friend, which was complete with selective color and sparkly photoshopped fairy wings

because that was the hot new style. 😂 It was terrible. Thankfully we've all grown out of that phase!

Since then, I've gone through many ups and downs, including a meniscus tear and knee surgery, which caused me to pause my photography career for a few years. I've decided to go back to school to earn a degree in business management  because I want to own a bookstore in my hometown, (I'm almost done - yay!) and I'm in the very early stages of planning my wedding (my fiancé, John, and I have been together almost 12 years).
I'm also rediscovering my love of photography and the connections I'm creating with all of my seniors. An aspect of photography I adore the most is spending time with seniors, getting to know them, getting great images, and showing them how beautiful they are, inside and out. Seeing their eyes light up when I show them the perfect shot on the back of my camera makes my heart soar!
